Urgent Message

Yesterday, (10/22/06) the front page of the Tampa Tribune ran a story (A Rapid Rise) regarding a real estate agent's suspicious behavior. The story uncovers a string of alleged unethical and illegal activities.

Most Realtors® who read this probably cringed, feeling that this is a black-eye for the industry. When I finished reading it, I was disgusted. While it is a shameful sequence of events, I encourage you to read it, and pass it along to others to read. As with any industry, there are those who have less than honorable intentions, and when there is a boom in business it seems to increase.

It is for this very reason, that you and everyone you know should be cautious in selecting who represents you in the purchase or sale of any home. Ethics and trust should be key concerns. You should feel comfortable that your Realtor® is making decisions based on doing the right thing, with a clear conscience. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope the story in the Tribune will be valuable to you or someone you know.
