Home Pricing Websites

In response to Stan's question, sites like Zillow.com in my opinion, are hit or miss. Many of these sites simply sift through public records to give you sales prices of homes in a given area. While this may seem good, it has it's problems. It can't tell you market trends and conditions for a specific area, like a Realtor® can, which can change quickly and from community to community. Realistic information about which homes your's should and should not be compared to can only come from a full time professional that you can trust. Luckily, there is no charge for the information on those sites. If there were, it would be like paying to play Solitaire on your computer...fun to play around with, but not a very good use of your time!

I've heard mixed reviews on them and was just wondering. Thanks.
